Terms of Service

Groundline is provided by Cyberdyne Investments CC, Namibia.

Groundline is an educational tool for tracking your own money: income, expenses, plans, assets, debts and goals. It shows your figures and the arithmetic on them.

• It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
• We are not a bank, lender, financial adviser or credit provider.
• Every figure comes from what you enter, so results are only as accurate as your entries.
• Statements and reports are prepared from your entries. They are not audited.
• You decide what to do with your money, and you are responsible for those decisions.

• You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract.
• Groundline may not be available in every country or region.

• Give accurate details and keep your password private.
• Tell us at support@cyberdyne.com.na if you think someone else has used your account.
• One account per person. Do not share it.

Groundline has a free plan and a paid Pro plan. What each includes is on the pricing page.

• You can buy Pro on the Groundline website or in the iPhone or Android app. One subscription works everywhere you sign in to your account.
• Pro is listed at USD 39.99 a year or USD 3.99 a month on the web and in the apps. The App Store and Google Play show the price in your currency, which may differ by country or region.
• New subscribers who buy on the web get a 30-day free trial, once per person. There is no trial if your account has had Pro before, or if your e-mail address has had a web subscription. In the apps, a trial applies only if your store shows one before you confirm. Cancel before a trial ends and you pay nothing.
• Pro renews automatically every month or year until you cancel.
• Cancel a web subscription in Settings, Billing. Cancel an app subscription in your App Store or Google Play account at least 24 hours before renewal. Deleting your account cancels a web subscription; deleting the app or your account does not cancel a store subscription.
• If you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
• If a price changes, you are told before it applies to you.

Web purchases are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which sells Pro to you as merchant of record. Paddle's buyer terms apply to that purchase, and refunds follow our Refund Policy.

App purchases are billed by Apple or Google, which handle refunds under their own policies.

You agree not to:

• break the law with Groundline or use it to harm others;
• try to get into other accounts, our systems or our data;
• copy, reverse engineer or scrape Groundline;
• upload malicious code;
• get around plan limits or resell the service.

Your figures belong to you. You let us store and process them only to run Groundline for you. We never sell them. You can download or delete them at any time. The Privacy Policy explains the details.

The Groundline name, logo, design and software belong to Cyberdyne Investments CC. These terms do not give you any ownership of them.

We work to keep Groundline running and accurate, but we provide it as it is and as available. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, Cyberdyne Investments CC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make using Groundline. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Groundline in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

You can stop at any time by deleting your account (see data deletion). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why unless the law stops us.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia, and the courts of Namibia have jurisdiction over any dispute.
